BBC Radio 1
In 2017 I moved to the UK to take up a role with BBC Radio 1 as Podcast & Documentaries Producer.
This was just about peak podcast era and the role had me devising & delivering original podcasts commissions for both narrow and large-scale audience groups.
It was during this period that I developed and produced Ray Moss and No Country For Young Women as well as helped launch the particularly saucy Unexpected Fluids. A number of pilots were also conceptualised and developed at this time including a roundtable music discussion format with Annie Mac & Fat Boy Slim and a behind-the-scenes drag queen series with some of East London’s fierce and finest.
As well as podcasting I also pitched and produced a number of documentaries and collaborated with National Prison Radio to produce their Outside In program.
