Live Events

Since starting in my post as Head of triple j, I’ve felt a responsibility to Australian artists, the industry and fans to build more community around both large and small scale live music events.

That includes:

• Bringing back the regional all-ages music festival One Night Stand to both Warrnambool, VIC (2024) and Busselton, WA (2025) to total crowds of over 25,000 while raising more than $400,000 for charity

• Putting on Bars of Steel Live - a hip hop show in a carpark in Parramatta that required a great deal of community stakeholder management - as part of a live activation of the popular digital content series

• Designing and launching Australia’s first ever ride-along rave on the Sunshine Coast with the trailblazing On Ya Bike DJ series

• Celebrating Ausmusic Month in triple j’s 50th anniversary year with a run of five shows in legendary live music venues around the country featuring acts like Courtney Barnett, Tkay Maidza, Ninajirachi, Mallrat, Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers and many more.
